hey everybody! i hope you all are ready to get back to the swing of things. this week with Athletic Training has been crazy but also really fun so i'm ready to get back to everyone being here and lets be real SOFTBALL!! all this sports like soccer and stuff make me extremely excited for season! can't wait...and i can't wait for sunday yippy! see you all there! :)

hey ladies! this week has been crazy with finishing my internship and packing and saying goodbye to everyone. I finally finished my mental book last night. I'm trying to overcome procrastination this year(mental note). Mom's car is loaded down and I will be leaving Knoxville here in a bit. I'm so excited to be back. I realized a lot this summer about myself so it wasn't a total loss. Well gotta get finished getting ready! miss you guys!

Well...after many arguments between my parents and I about if my stuff would fit in their car and mine (I would like to add with much pride that I won that argument =P haha) we started the drive up today.  I drove the whole way and found out that 10 hours of driving by myself is not all it's cracked up to be!  But I am here and will be moving in tomorrow YAY!  I am visiting my uncles and aunts over the weekend but I can't wait to see everyone sunday evening!!

well I finally started packing today. It's bittersweet I guess. I am excited to finally be in a nice dorm (: Workouts are going good and I am excited to work out at Otterbein instead of my boring gym. Who all is moving in on Saturday?

Hi ladies! I hope everyone is having a good week! On Sunday we are going to get together for dinner. We will meet at the campus center at 6:15pm and then walk/drive/however else you want to move, to Casey and my house for a delicious spaghetti dinner! We will hang out afterwards and probably play a game or two. This is a great way for everyone to meet each other so we would like it if everyone made their best effort to be there! hi girls! i feel like i haven't posted in awhile and im bored at work so i decided to do this haha. workouts have been going fine, they are getting boring and im sick of working out by myself. i can't wait for everyone to be back so that i don't have to do them by myself anymore :) i am actually also excited for school to start! it will put me back on a schedule and while i need to work it will at least slow it down and give me something different to do. there is going to be a team dinner thing on sunday but more details on that is to come :)

hey everyone! so i'm about half way through my mental book, which is mind gym, and i plan on finishing it tomorrow. reading it goes by pretty fast which is a good thing! i also have homework already so i'm trying to read this 110 page pdf file for my marketing class. very exciting...it's about shoes? anyways i'm looking forward to our meeting tuesday! see you all there!

Today I began packing up my stuff, and well i'm pretty sure i don't know how I got it all to fit into those tiny little dorm rooms last year. I feel like its going to be a clown car in my room ;) but im excited to move in, and to see everyone again, and actually to start practices!! Hope everyone had a great summer!

Hi ladies! Hope everyone is enjoying their last week of summer! I know I'm scrambling trying to finish a few things I should have been doing all summer, like my thesis haha. Anyway Casey and I were thinking about having a get together that involves food this Sunday, just to welcome everyone to campus and to meet everyone. We have done this in the past and it is always a lot of fun. We aren't sure on the exact location or time but we will let everyone know via facebook or this blog. It will probably be Sunday afternoon. Well enjoy your time before school starts and I can't wait to see everyone again!

well the car is loaded and im ready to leave in the morning...the whole family has sent me away with enough cookies and brownies to last all year. the only thing i have left to do is get my butt of the internet and finish my common book assignment, which i still have to start. cant wait to meet everyone!!!

So after much complaining and delay...I was finally forced to buy a new phone today...my phone only holds a charge for two minutes if I have a call but I can text for forever...great!  So I ended up going to verizon today and got the octane which actually does turn out to be similar to the EnV3...so thank you Brooke for that help!  Other than that, just running the last few errands before packing up to drive out on Thursday =)  I have to talk to the incoming history majors on Friday and since Chelsea Beeler is going to be one of those freshman...I expect total attention from her Bahahaha!  Good luck packing and moving in everyone!

helloooo. i have soo much to do still before we go back to school. my mom and i were out today from like 1-7 trying to get stuff done but we seriously only got one thing accomplished in those 6 hours (2 things if you count eating) lol. but i babysit the next 2 days so looks like i won't start packing til friday.. that should be fun. good luck getting everything done this week can't wait to see everyonee!!

5 more days!!! It's so crazy right now with trying to get a job, lifting, running, trying to squeeze in time with my friends and family before I head off. I can't wait to be at school. I went through interview 1 of 3 at Life Time Fitness to be a lifeguard. I'm supposed to have the 2nd interview thursday morning and I have to swim a 400m :/ YIKES. I also have a lifeguarding interview at the ymca this evening. That's all for now! Bye!

hello ladies! hope everyone's last week of summer is going well, im babysitting every day this week which makes it a little hard to get all the other things done but im just dragging the girls with me haha. im most of the way packed though so i feel a little bit accomplished! i also found out this week im going to be helping coach a 10u stingrays team and our first practice is saturday so im excited about that. hope everyone has a good last week or last day or so for you freshman!

I can't believe we start school in a week! Not sure if I'm ready to start classes again but I can't wait to see everybody!! I still have so much to do before I leave. I have started packing though! ohh heyy everyone! so school starts in like a week :( so excited to see everyone not so excited for this crazyy schedule i'm about to have!!! I went to work this morning and nothing new really happened. Than i went to workout and saw Rachel :) I felt like the lifting went by so much faster because we talked the whole time!! I'm getting readyy to go to Dime a Dog night with some friends!! I'm not really the greatest fan of baseball i'm really just going to be with my friends and get a hot dog for 10 cents! lol hope everyone has a great week!!!!

heyyyy! so today was my day off from athletic training. It was great haha i slept in a little longer and studied a lil well reviewed my anatomy and athletic training stuff...i also did some of my athletic training homework like reading journal articles and stuff...anyways just got done working out and saw paige :) that made me happy! but now i am about to go eat so i best be going...i got people waiting on me! welp later ladies hope your last week is going amazing! :)

Hi everyone =)  So today was my last day of work and unlike every time I ever leave to go back to school, I was seriously sad to leave everyone there.  Our group became super close during the summer and crazy hours and I will really miss them and the four people I trained for the last 2 weeks.  Hopefully everyone will still be there when I come back for the holidays but there is always a good chance that someone leaves.  Anyways, good news is I am officially...procrastinating...at packing =)  Haha I will be driving up on Thursday and I am hoping I leave all of this humidity behind!  Hope everyone is doing well and yes Woody, I am lookin forward to moving in...but definitely not the going back to class part!

hey everyone! so my new computer won't let me post on the blog for some reason, so i finally found one that did (dave's computer lol). but this week school started for my student teaching and my kids are awesome!! I have 4 sections of AP World History and a Honors US/Global History so most of the students want to be there and at least try. My cooperating teacher is fabulous as well, and we get along great!! the only bad thing is getting up at 6 am every morning... i could definitely do without that. but hope everyone is doing well and can't wait to see you all!

Work is still lovely as always, working out is still hard to do and Pops and I workout on the field about once or twice a week. Looking forward to hearing stories when we get back to school. Hey everyone...so this kid totally forgot about these blogs until someone reminded me last night. Workouts are still going well. i've been trying to pack but everytime I start i just end up staring at everything and not doing it. I cant wait to leave and get to school even though last night I may have had a little bit of a break down. These past few weeks have slowed down a lot since summer ball ended and its driving me nuts. I think all I've really done is go to work, eat, workout, and sleep. Well anyway I cant wait to get up there and meet everyone!!!

hey everyone. so i've been a busy beaver this week working at the hospital and now i started my other job today as well. i can't believe that i go back up to ohio next friday. i'm defiantly not ready to go back yet. toooo much packing. i miss everyone though!! workouts are still kicking my butt but they are good. pitching is still going great, just wiring on new grip for my movement pitches. well hope everyone is having a great week. can't wait to see everyone here in a bit!

I can't believe school starts so soon! I'm not sure if i'm ready for this! nothing knew has really been going on besides that i applied for a babysitting job today, for a 3 year old boy about 20-25 hours a week. $12 an hour so i'm okayy with it! I really hope I get this job because i don't know how much longer I can handle Bob....I really don't like him very much! always making me work overtime and calling me in on my days off! & some the customers I could punch in the face and not feel bad about it at all! okayy kidding i'd probably feel bad eventually! Can't wait to see everyone. y'all will have to come to the fortress and hang out once school starts & when i say fortress I mean my house! lol I think Knox came up with the name! lol Have a great weekend everyone!

hi guys! so i'm a little depressed about school starting so soon! i'm already getting emails from my professors about books and HOMEWORK?!? ugh. anyways i'm still doing practices with my little league team and i'm trying to come up with hitting drills for them but the league they're in has some of the stupidest rules for example, they're not aloud to hit soft toss at all...but oh well.

Hi everyone =)  So I just found out that I will be certified to work in the lunch line (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc) at Panera, which will complete the certification process to become an associate trainer.  I have to take a one-day class this Christmas in order to make it official, though.  That means that the next step would be to become a manager!  But I highly doubt I would ever want to be a manager so right now I am happy for the future promotion =)  Packing is going...not so well...mostly I just stare at everything and then put if off for another day..oops...I think I like unpacking better than packing!  Workouts are awesome but I am itching to be back on the field with all of you and the newcomers =)  My new catcher's mitt is breaking in well and I think all you pitchers are really going to like the snap it gives...think of my old glove times 5!  Have a great week!

Nothing new has been going on! I did have a good day at work though! Yesterday I helped with the middle school vball team's practice then megan, amy and I ran at the track then took some reps on the softball field! It made me really excited to start up practices again! I feel like I have so much to do in only a weeks time :( I'm starting to feel the stress already! Oh yeah somone's birthday is tomorrow by the way!!! :) big 20! hope you all are having a good week!

hey girls! nothing real exciting is going on in my life right now. i feel like i have been working a lot more than normal because i dont have as much to do so i work instead haha. it almost makes me ready for school to start so that i get some variety in my days. workouts have been going fine. its crazy what a week off can do to you. i only lifted on monday last week because i didnt know what was going on with my finger at that point and let me just say that todays lift sucked! i have a feeling i will be sore again tomorrow, when am i not sore!! i am excited for everyone to be back around again so you can all come visit and have fun with us at our house :) we love visitors!! have a great rest of the week and weekend everyone!

So my mom has been training for this bike thing that she is doing, and she bikes everywhere. Well today I decided I would go with her on a trip into town and back, which is about 25 miles!! I think that my legs might be sore tomorrow. :(

Hi ladies! Not much going on here. I worked my first real shift at Red Robin, and it went well. I have been taking it a bit easy on my workouts because of my ankle. I'm just sort of stressing a bit because I'm really starting to look at graduate schools and deciding which programs I actually want to go into. I feel like I'm a senior in high school again, but this time it's much more difficult to decide haha. I also am scrambling to put together my experiment for my honors project. If there is anyone in a 1000 or 2000 level psych class and needs research credit or you want the chance to win a fantastic prize you should probably participate in mine, because you'll get credit and the chance to win a $25 gift certificate for either iTunes or Starbucks! hey all! sooo last thursday/friday night was officially my last night of packing pads...im done working well since i have to move back to school on FRIDAY! i know friday right? crazy! but its because im training for mens soccer for those who don't know but yeah its crazy to think that its already to go back...like im ready but then again im like omg am i ready to study again....hi my name is rachael puthoff can i please go study? like am i really ready to be that girl agian haha oh well its coming faster than i think!! soo yeah...alright well going to go watch my sister run a cross country race thing soo best be going! later :)

Hello all! So this week has been kinda rough..my little sister and I both had our wisdom teeth taken out :( I am so glad I never have to go through that again!!! I am still sore and can't eat much hard food. I did enjoy eating all the ice cream I wanted without feeling guilty though :) I can't we move in two weeks from today! Craziness!! Hi ladies! I have had a slightly amusing week. On Tuesday I was taking grounders with my sister and she hit a pop up and I went back to catch it, well after I caught it I took a wrong step and sprained my ankle pretty good. It's bruised and swollen but I've done it like 5 times to this particular ankle so I'll be fine. Also, I started at Red Robin. Let's just say the restaurant business is sort of dramatic. I'm just a hostess, so it's not hard, but I think it will take some getting used to. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!

hello everyone! hope you all are doing well,i cant believe how close its getting to school its crazy! i want to come back to see all of your lovely faces and such but im just not ready for class yet. for all of you that are wondering i have so many books that they dont all fit in my backpack, and thats just for 2 classes, for the other two classes i have a bunch more books, im gonna have to carry two separate backpacks! i know im a nerd :( maybe ill start running to class and telling coach thats my workout since ill have so much extra weight! well have a good weekend!

well after being with out laptop for like 3 weeks. i finally got a macbook. yep i jumped on the bandwagon. It was awesome seeing everyone last monday! I had a blast except brooke had to go get herself hurt. workouts are still going good. mom is getting sad about me leaving for another year, but i'm getting excited. well hope everyone has a great weekend!

Update for anyone who wants to know or cares :p...found out my hand is just fine! they took some more xrays today at my hand doctor appt and they think that its more of a really bad sprain then anything. so i am officially out of my splint and can get back to doing whatever i want again :) and i get my stitches out of my nose tomorrow :):) so overall its just going to be a fantasic weekend :) can't wait for everyone to be around again!

I FINALLY have my computer back and working again! T-minus 2 weeks until I get to see all of your lovely faces again! Waah hooo! Workouts are going well! I have noticed a difference in my strength from when I started. Fair was two weeks ago and it was Uh-Mazing. I won showman of showman, premier exhibitor, and grand champion. I also set the record for highest purchase price for dairy feeders. I do miss Mark though, he was a good cow :'( But anyways can't wait to be back at good ole Otty b! Toodles!

So I just got back from Nashville =(  Kinda sad I won't see Steph and Kelly for at least 6 months but hopefully I can drive down from Otterbein with one of my other friends during J-Term to see them =)  Two more weeks and I will be driving up to Otterbein!  Whoop Whoop!  I am stoked to be coming back but I wish I didn't have to leave my home, family, and friends for what seems to be FOREVER! lolz  Hope you all are having a great week!

So lately my running companion has been my dog(she's the only one that can keep up with me haha) and today when we were running along minding our own business, Kesha had to do her business so of course we had to stop. While I was waiting some old man yelled " get that dog off of there" when I looked around there was no one to be found, so I just ignored it but then they yelled again, and that's when Kesha and I decided to continue our run, but in a faster manner.

I just found of today my dad bought dog pound tickets for the browns first preseason game this Saturday im sooo excited to say the least!! well I watched my sister today and we played with bubbles and she loved it. well anyways hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Hey girls! Sorry I haven't written in like a week I just got back from California and it was a lot of fun! It was nice to be able to spend the whole week with just my brother and sister. My brother hosted the miss orange county pageant in Huntington so we got to go to the beach and then watch the pageant at night. It was cool to watch my brother but those girls were all so fake it was sickening to watch lol. But today was my first day back to babysitting so it's back to reality.. Also, my family is now completely moved into our new house so it's nice to have that stress lifted off us but it's weird living somewhere new. See you guys in a couple weeks!

Hey everyone! So I finally decided on the computer that I want so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one is a good one and that I don't break it (if you couldn't tell, computers and I just don't get along) . Other than that, my cousins from Montana are in town so we had a bonfire at my aunts house and just hung out with them the entire time. It's also my little sister's 20th birthday today!!! So that means cake today!!! I can't wait if you couldn't tell lol. But I have to get back to work so have a great thursday!

Hello everyone! I just got caught up on everything that happened Monday. And Brooke! Whatttt the heckk haha I hope you get better soon! I am sorry I couldn't be there to meet everyone. It sounds like you all had a blast! Just so Liz knows.. I went to a Reds game yesterday with a group of Otterbein students and my PR Professor so we got to go in the press box.. I was on T.V. I met a lot of cool people had great seats and had free food! It was a great day except I had to work this morning so I only got 5 hours of sleep. Only two more weeks until I see all of your shining faces :)

Well lets just put it this way, i had fun at the scrimmage with everyone while i was there haha. for anyone who wasn't there, i had an unexpected injury and ended up having to go to an urgent care. i dove head first into 3rd and my helmut came down and took a chunk out of my nose so i currently have 3 stitches in it, but i get them out on sat :) and then my pinky finger either went into the bag or the ground or something, anyway it is currently in a splint cuz i actually chipped off part of the bone. idk how long this is going to have to be on here but i find out on friday morning when i go to my hand doctor appt. until then i guess i can work on my mile time and do some good ab workouts haha. but it was good meeting everyone who was there. i wish i could have been around for the cookout but there will be much more time for that once school comes around :) im ready to have everyone back around again!

Hi everyone!  Wish I was at the scrimmage on Monday but I heard it was very eventful =)  We currently have two painters in my sister's room and a bathroom fixing the ceiling where water leaked in during the tornadoes in April...so far, they have been singing...not too well...the theme song from Old Yeller....It's quite annoying when you have to hear it from a redneck voice that can't keep a tune =(  Anyways, I don't have to put up with it for long because I am leaving soon to go to Nashville to see my best friend before she leaves for Longwood!  Unfortunately, when I come back, I still will have two more weeks of work and my boss was very...thoughtful...to give me 40+ hours a week...I don't know yet whether to dread this or be happy for overtime pay hahaha Anyways...I'm gonna end this here because the painters have now decided to start up the tunes from Disney movies...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Heyy! I'm going to agree with everyone before me and say that the scrimmage was awesome to see everyone!!! Other than that, this is my last week working so things are a little stressful trying to get it all done, but its still going well. Other than that, nothing is really new. My little sister's birthday is tomorrow so I'm betting my family will be doing something fun (I don't know any details...I usually just show up where I'm told to be lol) and one of my close high school friends is back in town from Rutgers (New Jersey) so I've been hanging out with her. hey everyone! so yesterday's open field was awesome and extremely hot. and the cook out was great! :) anyways not much is going on with me just workouts. I order all of my books for school and got them already which is always good. this fall i'm actually going to be helping coach a fall ball league for 8-9 year old girls. hehe should be fun. hopefully i won't miss too much because of our practices. but oh well. tonights actually our first practice so it should be interesting. have a great week!

hey yall! sorry for not being on here all week. My laptop completely died on me on vacation. We had a great time but i'm glad on not behind enemy lines now haha. Brad Paisley was awesome last night. I touched his guitar strap. Yea i know..your jealous. I can't wait for open fields tonight and to see everyone. Hey ladies! So for the cookout, I'm going to be bringing hotdogs, hamburgers, some chips, n fruit. Bring your own drinks!!! (i figured we would all have water with us anyways). If you would like to bring anything else, go right ahead!! I can't wait!! :) But other than that, I found out yesterday that I'll be starting my student teaching next week on Wednesday. I'll be teaching either A.P. World History (which is for sophomores) or U.S./Global History for freshmen so i'm extremely excited for it! Hiii ! So i just got home from my sisters national tournament , they didnt do so good but we got to go to D.C and stuff so it was fun ! One more week of work :) thank god lol cant wait to be back at school... miss you guys !!

hey girls. so my team got out of the tournament friday and we ended up finishing top 60 in the nation. after we lost it was so sad, for most of my team that was our last tournament because were to old to play next year. two other girls and myself have been with stingrays since we were 11 so it was really hard to say goodbye. we just stayed at the field and cried lol.I will be at the cookout and scrimmage tomorrow so see you all there. can't wait to meet the new ones

Hey! Not much has changed around here. My car is still broken and now isn't going to get fixed until Wednesday. I'll still be able to make it to the cook out though...I'll be pimpin' it out in my mom's mini van haha. I also got a job! I will be a hostess at Red Robin at Easton. Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on to blog lately. My computer is still broken and our family computer doesn't let me post on the blog (there's something weird with it). But this past week I was down at Chattanooga, TN for the 16u nationals and they had some extremely nice ballparks. Our team didn't do to hot, but they had fun while they were down there so that's what matters.
I've also got the grill cleaned for tomorrow and a cook lined up (my mama :)) so I can't wait to see everyone!

So it's just now hitting me how close school is!! I may sound like a dork but I'm excited! Nothing new has been going on. We drove all the 13 hours yesterday from Boston...Not fun! I'm sorry I can't make it on Monday. When I got home I had two letters from Jake!!! I was so excited! I feel like I'm in the movie dear John.

If anyone needs the Biology book for General Bio I have it and am willing to sell it. I also have the Math 115 book I'm not sure what the number for the class is now. But just let me know! Hope you all are having a good weekend! :)

So here I am towards the end of my week of vacation and I realize....I AM NOT CLOSE TO BEING READY TO GO BACK!!!  ugh!  I have books, new clothes, and apartment stuff to buy, a trip to Tennessee to see my friend before she is off to Longwood, a doctor's appointment, scheduling my last day of work (I am excited for this task! haha)...and so the list goes on and on!  Why can't I simply just pack a suitcase and leave like they did in the old...old...old days??  Anyways, vacation has been going really well =)  It is so funny how many people in the East stop me to say they know where Otterbein is because they lived in Ohio, went to college in Ohio, or went to Otterbein...and in Alabama or the South...no one has a clue what Otterbein University is and I constantly get the phrase..."Oh, you go to OtterbEEn!" Haha I hope you all are having a good summer.  I wish I could be there Monday but I hope everyone has a great time!  We have 3 more weeks! =)

whats up ladies! Nothing new has been happening with me. Work is getting so old. Working at a grocery store is a very good motivator-er for getting good grades in college b/c if I had to work there for the rest of my life I think I would reach a state of depression. I am so mad too because I talked to boss man to see if I could get Monday off so I could make it to the scrimmage and he would not give it to me. So once again I will not be seeing anyone :'( Hope everything goes well though!

hey hope everyone is doing good! i cannot believe we move in so soon its crazy! i cant wait to be back at school but im dreading going back to classes. books are killing me this year im gonna have to spend like a ton of money but thankfully half of my books ill be using all year not just this semester. im taking human sexuality and one of the books i had to get is called the art of getting it on, i thought you all would get a kick out of that! i cant wait to see everyone monday yayyyyyyyy!

hey everyone! so i decided to use this week as my week off. on sunday i had a pitching lesson and that went well and then after that i decided to take a nap and when i woke up i could barely move and was walking like an old lady because my back was killing me (which is the reason i took this week off). so monday and tuesday i couldn't move and then i finally dug out the heating pad and it got a little better. but i went to my message therapy today and the lady told me that my muscles decided to wrap themselves around my spine? great, right?

Hello ladies.
This week has been pretty slow so far even though it is Thursday. I still cannot believe it is August already and in like three weeks we will be back at the big O. Crazy stuff. Workouts are still tough and finding time to do them is even more tough. I am ticked that I have not been able to make it down to a scrimmage and sadly won't make it this Monday either. Cannot wait to see all of your lovely faces soon enough!

So workouts have been going good. i tell u what, a week off kills ya, i am back to being a bit sore again and i don't know that i like it haha. my shoulders are def sore today. anyway nothing real exciting has been going on in my life right now. its kind of on the down slope until school starts. i am going to amish country tomorrow with my moms side of the family so that should be fun and then to a country concert at the wood county fair on saturday night. so there is a lil fun in there :) hope everyone has a great weekend and can't wait to see u guys on monday night :)

So, I'm not really sure when the last time I posted. But I'm getting super excited for school. Is that weird? I'm very nervous but I just want to get there. I still don't know my roommate like everyone else but I'm anxious to find out. I can't believe summer is almost over though.Workouts have been good. Sore as usual! wow i suck at this. i have been sooooo busy lately. right now my team is in Normal Illinos for the ASA Nationals! We just finished pool play and got the number two seed. We play tomorrow at 1:45 and if we win two games tomorrow we have thrusday off!! What up CHICAGO woo hoo. oh heres a funny story. So on monday we had one game and the temp was 95 but with humidity it was triple digits, and I did not hydrate enough....so by the 3rd inning I was completely out of it. I get up to bat, hit the ball and just stand in the batters box! I didn't even run I just watched them get me out. I figured a few of you might get a kick out of that. Anyways were hoping to make the mid west proud so GO STINGRAYS! miss you all

hey guys! I'm leaving for california tomorrow with my sister! well pretty much tonight.. we have to leave for the airport at like 3am. This was a completely last minute trip. My sister was going to go with one of her friends, but she couldn't get out of work so i took her place lol. but this means that i won't be able to go to our open field/cookout next week :( we get home the day after that. i'm really mad though because i haven't been able to make it to any of them. i have seriously been so busy this summer it's ridiculous. i'm excited to go back to school so i can maybe have a couple minutes of free time. Also my family's finishing moving into our new house this week so when we get back from california our old house will be empty :( anywaysss i'll try to remember to post again later this week!

Hello! So my life is still pretty lame at the moment. I'm still at home because my dad thought he could fix my car then decided that he couldn't, so my car is going in the shop on Monday. I should still be able to make it to the open field/cookout so that's good. Since I'm at home I go workout at my high school which means I have to go in at 7am because its only open from 7 until 8:30. Some of the machines are pretty jenk though so I have had to substitute some lifts. Anyway, I hope to see you all on Monday!

So this weekend i'm going to Viginia for my sisters softball tournament, its the first time she's going to nationals.. so i'm really excited for her :) I hope the hotel has a good work out room so I can stick to my work out ! Heyy everyone!!!! so i actually didn't have to work today it was great i worked out this morning, went home to see my family for a little bit, had a dentist appointment...which wasn't fun at all...i had a cavity & they numbed my mouth! Which really sucked because it was hard to talk & we all know how much i like to talk! & now i am back at home waiting for brooke to get home to cook me dinner :) she's gonna make me some chicken Parmesan or as brooke calls it Parmesan chicken...who calls it that! she's a freak but that is beside the point!!! So i really enjoyed the dayy off but i better not get use to it because i work the next 13 days, 8-10 hour shifts...NOT FUN! But i should be at open fields on monday i think i get off of work early! hope everyone has a great week!!!!!

Ahh the first week of August, and less than a month for school and softball to start. I'm so excited about this weekend though one of my best friends is getting married, and it's the first wedding that I have ever been in. I went and got my nails done on friday and now it's so hard to type I keep messing up it's really annoying. Everything is so stressful with getting everything ready for her wedding I couldn't even imagine if this were my own wedding, which will not be happening for sometime no worries!! haha I'll be at the scrimmage for anyone who else is coming!! :)

So...after hearing ya'll brag about your vacations all this summer...I FINALLY GET ONE!!  Thing is...so far I have met a family from Michigan....they were the typical rude Wolverine fans whose son reminded me of my ex-boyfriend only with nerdy clothes...and I talked to a woman and her 10 year old daughter who I met in an elevator who live ten minutes away from Capital University (YUCK!)...of course I was wearing my Otterbein Gear (GOTTA REPRESENT!!) and as I walked away, I heard the mom tell her daughter that we were the rivals and Capital was the best...poor girl...she argued back to her Mom that I was "weally nice!" hahaha idk what her mom said after that!  But I went on a nice run this morning...we are in Williamsburg, Virginia and it is still as beautiful as ever!  Hopefully I will get to see some of my friends from Longwood University who are interning here =)

well i just got back from cedar point. it was a blast. we are going up to michigan tomorrow and then staying there till next sunday. My dad has meetings all week so we get to hang around and go to the lake. I hope it will be fun. well yall have a great week!

Come to find out their was a major heat index advisory yesterday so... that was kind of funny. Hi girls!! I feel like it has been ages since i have been on here to post something!! I was on vacation last week and didn't take a computer or anything and was trying to stay away from my phone as much as possible (which actually worked out pretty well haha) so that i could totally get refreshed and enjoy myself before school starts. my vacation was awesome!! we were in the best place ever (indian river, michigan). we had a house on the lake and had a boat for the week so we were out swimming and tubing and we got to water ski (took me forever to get up on the skis and then i was only up for like 5 seconds haha). we also did all kinds of other fun stuff so if you wanna know details text/facebook/whatever haha. and since i was on vaca i decided to not work out. i was going to try and run every day but that didn't happen cuz i just didn't feel like it some days and others we were busy doing other stuff. needless to say it didn't do me any good and i feel super out of shape! i know it was only a week but i never wanna do that again! i just went out to run and was going to do 2 miles, well i got 1 ran and then had to walk cuz i was just so tired. i am so grumpy about it that i am going to go out and run again, doing it a lil different, but it just made me super grumpy! i know you guys r going to think im a freak but i am actually looking forward to getting back into doing workouts (paige already told me im a freak but thats fine :p haha). well now that i have written like the longest post in forever i am going to go run again and work off some of this vacation junk food that needs to go. have a great day everyone!! :)

Hello my lovely ladies. Well. I am exhausted. I went over to Gayla's the other night with Maggot and got 4 hours of sleep only to drive 2.5 hours home to work. I am a re-tard. haha but it's okay it was a good time. It made me really excited for this coming year. My father and I played some softball together and it made me miss the travel ball days a lot. I also had a my high school softball coach pass away yesterday morning. It was really sad. He was a really good guy. So this week was super bitter/sweet for me. I hope everyone is doing well. Keep in touch I feel like I haven't spoken to half of you all in a really long time!

ohhh heyy! so i thought i should let everyone know it's official i'm CRAZYY! So for the past week and a half or so i have been living by myself because my one roommate still isn't officially moved in and brooke went on vacation with her family! anyway because i have no one to talk to i have literally been talking to myself! like i'll ask myself a question out loud than i will answer it! it's getting bad!!! the other day I was at kroger and was talking out loud to myself but if you were someone watching you would of thought i was talking to the bread!!! I was just trying to decide if I wanted wheat or white bread & people were giving me these really crazyy stares!!
Here is another laugh for everyone, i had another blonde moment yesterdayy! I have class from 5:30-9:30 on tuesday and thursday nights and before I go to class i try to make myself dinner and take it with me! well last night i decided i just wanted some mac n cheese cause i wasn't that hungary. Anyway so i put the water on the stove for it to boil. I leave the kitchen & like 10 min later i go back to see if the water is boiling! It wasn't! So i went back to watching tv then 5 min later went back to the water...still wasn't boiling! at this point i have like 15 min to get to class and the water still hasn't started to boil, so i'm getting so bad and like yelling at the stove for being stupid!! Then i realize i never turned the stove on!!! hahaha needless to say i felt like an idiot!!!

soo just about getting ready to go to work haha yay me!! ummm nothing really big is going on around here expect for me working and working out haha yeah that's about my life lol oh my sisters and mom and I are all going shopping this weekend! that should be a good time. every summer we try to take one weekend go shopping spend the night somewhere and then get up and shop some more. even though i don't have buko dollars to spend lol it should still be a good time with my sisters and mom :) im excited...but other than that not much is happening...oh anyone a bachorletter fan?!?!?!?!? i just became one this season and this monday is the finale! i have to watch it on hulu the next morning due to work but im super pumped about that...i hope she picks JP if not then im going to marry JP myself! haha welp i better be going now officially time to get ready for work...at least i get a pay check tonight! welp everyone have a magical weekend...later girls!! :)

So last night me and Elyse went over to Kayla's it was a blast and I can't wait to move back to school. I know I sound really lame who wants to go to school? Anyway my workouts are coming along i'm getting my Y membership next week, and my pool should be ready sometime soon but these people are taking forever!! and it's making me angry!

So I just got back from Florida on Monday. It was super hot down there but at least there was a breeze as opposed to here where there is nothing! I got to see Magger and Elyse yesterday and it made me super anxious to see everyone else :D My younger sister is in her ASA nationals in Tennesse right now so I am home alone all week. hey guys hope everyone is doing well! i've been a little busy lately because on sunday during the storm our house got struck by lightning it was crazy! it blew out like half the power in our house so we had to get a bunch of outlets replaced and our big tv system and such in the basement is completely ruined so were still dealing with that. im just glad that the big chunk of wood that flew off the house didnt hit my car cause then we'd have even more problems! erin don't get struck by lightning in the storms while you're running! have a good week everyone!

Hey everyone! So today I worked at a 30 million dollar house ..its freaking rediculous lol ! Then I did cardio kick boxing and zumba after my softball workout! It kicked my butt hah. Have a great day everyone :)

So...running in thunderstorms...totally an awesome and stupid idea! =)  I went for a run today in my neighborhood, which is about 4-5 miles depending on the path I take, and I didn't know it til I was about 5 or so minutes out that a thunderstorm was forming.  So here I am, running with lightning and thunder all around and I am too stubborn to turn back early.  After I got to the end and was turning back, the sky was super black and the rain and wind started to pick up....oops!  I began to hightail it back home!  It was probably the best race of my life!!!!  All these people looked at me like I was crazy when they ran into their houses and several cars stopped trying to see if they could take me home...even my mom came looking for me hahaha!  But I can't ever pass up running in a storm like that so I kept saying no to people.  The storm definitely beat me home but it was well worth running in it...BEST RUN OF THE SUMMER!!!

It's fair weeeekk!! Tonight is showmanship and I am really nervous but excited at the same time. I have definetly filling up on fair food as a treat for my work outs. They cancel out...... right?

AUG. 8 SCRIMMAGE INFO ~ READ THIS!!!!

Hey ladies!! August 8 is going to be our last open fields and we want everyone who can possibly come to be there. This is going to be a team scrimmage/cookout before school starts and even though we can't make it mandatory, we would REALLY REALLY REALLY like if everyone tried their hardest to get there. I'm not sure if this is enough notice for people to call off work, but that's how serious we are about everyone coming. If you're coming from far away, talk to each other to possibly carpool, and if you need to spend the night, let us know and we'll get things arranged. We'll get more information out about the cookout once it gets closer, but PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOUR COMING OR NOT as soon as you know. Thanks girls!!!

Workouts today kicked my butt since I took last week off. I'm going to the McKinley monument tonight with my friend to run the stairs so that should be fun... hah. I'm preparing myself encase we have to do the dreadful bleacher run again lol. I got the iPhone yesterday so I'm still in the process of getting used to it. I'm typing this blog from it so I can get better at texting haha. I made the girls I babysit go with me to get it because that's the only time I have to get anything done ever anymore. This summer has been crazyy.

ohh heyy everyone! I just got off work and am about to go workout for the dayy! I have class tonight at 5:30 & i hope the time fly's by because my attention span normally can't last 4 hours...it's getting better though! I hope everyone has a great week!

This week is the county fair and my little sister shows dairy feeders! she gets to compete in the showmen of showman contest where she has to learn how to show every animal at the fair! I can't wait to watch it! She also placed third overall with one of her calves. Which is pretty sweet! And Jake left for training yesterday :( so I will see him after we come home from winter break! Seems like years from now. But workouts have been going good, they are hard but I guess thats a good thing. I can't make it Monday for the scrimmage on the 8th becuase I am getting my wisdom teeth out that day!! :( I am not looking forward to it. But this Sunday me Megan and Amy are going to Boston for 4 days to watch the red sox! I got them tickets for Megan's graduation and Amy's birthday! We are also stopping by carlos' Bakery in NJ on our where there! I am so pumped! It should be fun. hope you all are having a good week!

well this girl has softball camp the next three days. I'm excited :) I will be the pitching instructor for the whole camp. My internship is still going great. I believe that this is the right fit for me. I will be up in sunbury saturday night then we leave for michigan sunday. I think we are stopping by cedar point to ride these things called rollarcoasters. I'll be back sunday august 7 for Brad Paisley at Crew Stadium. Anyone else going? Then i will see all your lovely faces on august 8th for open field! hey everyone! so i just got back from an ammmazing concert :) and i got to meet the band that played! it was at the wexner and basically less than 20 people were there so it's going to be one of those things that when they get big i can be like yeah....i met them!

anyways this weekend my team got 2nd in our tournament! it was awesome and a good way to end the summer season. my arm didn't feel to great this weekend because of all the rain i think. but oh well.

also today i had an appointment with this message therapist that does medical restorative message therapy and i'm hoping it can fix everything wrong with my arm. but instead of just looking at my arm they look at my whole body because that effects everything. except when she was messaging me it felt more like torture because it hurt so bad. but afterwards i felt amazing. so i really hope it works :)

So today I got the joy of cleaning out the calf pins, o yes by myself. This involves using the skid loader and dumping it out every time I fill it up, well one while doing this I accidentally lifted the bucket to high proceeding to dump a good portion of the manure on top of me, it was wonderful. Other than that I have been doing good I played my last tournament this past weekend we got 9th out of 48 or so teams which isn't to shabby.

Heyy everyone! So this weekend I was supposed to be up in Chicago for a tourney, but I ended up not being able to go. It turned out pretty good bc the entire tourney got rained out. But on Saturday I got to watch my nephew's first t-ball game and it was quite hilarious. However, they made it so that if the kids did happen to get out, they got to stay on the bases to run. My parents and I didn't agree with it (really? since when does everyone win) but they had fun which is what counts. My nephew even slid into a few bases, along with face planting once, but he was having a blast :) I hope to see everyone at open fields tonight!!!

welppp back to reality. i just got back from hilton head late last night and i've already been busy non-stop since i got home. my family's moving this week and we just started packing today so we still have a lottt of work to do. i'm really mad i haven't been able to make it to an open field yet! i have to babysit during the week til 5, but i'm trying to see if their dad can get home earlier one day so that i can leave at like 3:30 to come. idk if this week is going to work yet though because my parents need all the help they can get with the move so it's hard to squeeze a 4 hour car ride in with all that going on. but anyways if i'm able to make it tomorrow i'll see you guys there!

Hi girls! Hope everyone is staying cool in the heat! I was at my sister's tourney this weekend. They did well through the pool play but then lost this morning. On a plus side, I got a lot of sun so I actually look a little tan haha. Anyway, hope to see you guys this week for our open field!

So this weekend was going to be my off weekend from tournaments but i ended up playing with the 23u Express team up in Toledo. It was definatly different but I learned a lot. The hotel we stayed at was awesome! My parents however have learned that they should never leave me alone in a hotel room with 2 awesome queen size beds and my computer because it all ends in me jumping up and down from one to the other with my music blaring. Oh ya, and Erin making fun of my computer's randomness at song selection =). Anyway, I have another big week coming up with workouts, practice, working as a camp counselor and getting ready for next weekends tournament.

hi everyone! so this weekend is my last tournament! today we did pretty good. i pitched 3 innings the first game but my arm was killing me the whole time for some reason. but when i went in in our last game my arm felt 100 times better! so thats good? idk it has a mind of its own. i also got to see liz today! and rachaels mom (since their sisters play on the same team...weird coincidence?). anyways i'm going to go to bed now since or first game tomorrow is at 8:30....ugh.

well my week has been fun with a suprise vistor staying all week. We went to the mountians which were so fun. workouts are still going good. track workouts arent good. I'm glad I'm a softball player! well I'm still doing my internship and having a blast with the patients. I'm coming to the scrimmage august 8th. I can't wait be on back on the field with ya'll!!. any who i hope everyone is having a great weekend. Love you guys!

So today I was reminded how much I really want to coach when I finish college.  We have a new vicar at our church (a vicar is someone who is still in Seminary school (in Gettysburg, PA) and takes a year to learn and preach at a church...kinda like student teaching for education majors).  Anyways, he has a wife and three daughters who absolutely love to play softball.  The 3 girls are in 2nd, 5th, and 9th grade and are in the same school system I was in.  We had dinner with them tonight and they wanted to know all about the travel ball and recreational leagues here in Birmingham.  I had all the information for them so I was able to point them out to the best recreational league for the two youngest girls and the travel ball teams for the oldest one.  Joanna, the oldest, really wanted to find a travel team, but because of her bigger family and her dad's new role at our church, she needed a team that would stay in Birmingham during the fall but would play a more competitive schedule in the summer.  After I talked to her about what she could do, she asked me if I would help her workout as much as possible before she tried out with teams.  I am really excited for this opportunity and to see her placed on a good team where she will be happy and excel during her playing time. =)  Hope you all have a great weekend!!

My week has been good I have went to the pool all day yesterday and today, so I been pretty productive. However soon I wont have to go to a pool because they are starting to put it tomorrow!! The only problem is they start early in the morning and will wake me up because its right outside my window, but that okay since I mean I am getting a pool! ohh heyy everyone! so i don't know about anyone else but these track workouts are kicking my butt. Another thing kicking my butt is this summer class i'm taking! The professor looks like the kfc guy whatever his name is sanders or something, I have a hard time taking him seriously!!! The good news is the professor doesn't believe in test or quizzes!!!!! whooo :) The class starts in like 15 min so i should probably get going! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Hey everyone! This week has been good. I feel like workouts are getting harder and harder but that's because I keep pushing myself harder. I ran a mile today at my old middle school track.It's the first time I've attempted to run it besides on a tredmill and I got it done within 8:41. For me, that is a decent time! I was kind of suprised. I'm going to start running each day and hopefully by the time school starts I've got it down to 7 something! It's soooo hott outside though, I'm about to go lay out and try to get some sun. It'll be relaxing (:

hello ladies! i still havent quite recovered from vacation and these workouts sure arent helping! this weekend though my whole family is going to my sisters soccer tournament but im staying since i have to work on friday but that means im sleeping in really late saturday and sunday since no one can wake me up except my kitten but hes pretty good at that. im hoping to go see the new harry potter movie at some point too i cant believe i put it off this long, hope everyone has a great week and we can get together on monday!!!

Hi everyone!  So this week has been pretty good so far.  One of my best friends works at the Birmingham Zoo so I got in free as her "cousin" for the day =)  We had a great time seeing the animals and watching the trainer working with the lion.  One of our other friends who moved to Colorado is coming back to Bama for the weekend so we are all getting ready for her to get here!!!  Other than that, everything has been pretty normal.  Workouts are going great and still kick my butt =)  But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hey ladies!! So Monday I was planning on going to dime a dog, but unfortunately it got rained out :( so to replace it, we ended up making our own hotdogs and getting coldstone afterwards lol. But the excitment for the week was when my family's pet snake (her name is Scoots and she's a 4 1/2 ft. albino cornsnake. she's awesome!!!!) escaped and was missing for about two days, but we ended up finding her in my mom's closet. She was so mad at us tho once we did find her because she wouldn't eat any of her mice lol. She's a bit of a diva :) But other than that, nothing new is going on besides reading, researching, working out, and working. And I agree with Kayla, go see Harry Potter if you haven't!

hey girls! I figured I would post on here before I leave. My flight leaves today around 5 for florida. I can't wait to be on the beach (: I will also becoming "one" with the beach when I get up to run on it in the morning (; I know a couple of other people are leaving for vacation soon too, so safe travels!

I know its been awhile since I've been on here and I'm sorry. My family and I have had a rough week. Two of our family members have passed away within a week of eachother. One those was my aunt who battled cancer for 1 and a half years. The other was a distant cousin who didn't make it out of surgery. But enough bad news. This past weekend was the National Studebaker Reunion that we have every 5 years where Studebakers from around the country come in for the weekend. It's actually really fun. We play games, have live music, and of course tons of food! One of the games we play is called the wheel barrel johnny race. You have to guess 30 pounds of sand, put it in your barrel and run through this course that includes a hill. My dad did it 10 years ago and lost by 2 seconds!! This chick right here won the girls race by 2 seconds! It was the hardest workout I have done all year!! You have no idea. The winner recieves a studebaker pocket watch which is a pretty big deal. My late grandpa collected them and then gave them to all of his grandchildren when he passed. So now I have two! Not to mention they are worth quite a lot of money.

My mom, megan and I had our first stainglass class last night and again tonight! It was a lot of fun! But so time consuming. Workouts are going good. I already did mine today cause I leave for work in like 30 minutes. Hope you all are having a good week!

helloo. i'm in hilton head this week and it's been a lot of fun so far! we spent all day sunday and monday at the beach and everyone got reallyy burnt. so today we all sat around inside and pretty much did nothing because we were afraid to go outside haha. but tomorrow we are going jet skiing so that should be funn! this week i took my week off from workouts and it has been veryyyy nice. i've still been doing stuff to keep me in shape though. i play tennis with my cousins every day and i never knew how much of a workout tennis can be. especially in 90+ degree weather.

well the workout today kicked my butt!! i did the 2 interval runs and i am now exhausted and my legs hurt. honestly i could only get through 1 and a half of them cuz my legs killed and my foot hurt too. but ill get around to doing the whole 2 eventually, ive got a few weeks to practice it :p haha...other than workouts things are going fine. work is work and thats about it. i am super excited though cuz i leave for vacation on friday morning :) it couldn't come at a better time!! well hope everyone is enjoying their last little bits of summer!

I am so excited to leave for florida tomorrow! much needed vacation and relaxation time (: My 10u team had their last tournament this past weekend. While we did not make it far, they played the best I have ever seen them play. I also got stung by a wasp saturday and my cheek is the size of South America...still. So I am guessing besides being allergic to grass, trees, dust, and cats, I am now allergic to bees. I hope everyone is having a good tuesday. if you haven't yet, you should go see Harry Potter. and that is all! (:

hey guys! so i'm super bored...so i decided i should post on here. this weekend is my last summer ball tournament! Sunday we lost our first game...but oh well. for some reason my coach always puts me in with bases loaded. i mean it's not that big of a deal but i don't think he understands how difficult it is especially when you don't know the umpires strike zone.

anyways. today i think i'm going to get my hair cut and then dye it! also i won't be able to make it to mondays open field :( because i'm going to a concert :)!!!!!! i'm a little excited about it. and maybe a little obsessed with the band. but their from england! and i'm soooo excited!!

I just got done with a workout and man is it hot out! This past weekend I visited a friend in Cleveland and we went to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, an art museum, the zoo, the natural history museum, and the botanical garden. I actually really liked the art museum. It was huge, it was gorgeous and they had a whole room dedicated to armor, like what knights wore back in the day....awesome!! Yes a little nerdy but whatever haha. Anyway this weekend I'm going to Cincy to see my man beast it up!! I'm pretty excited our seats are right on the first base side so perfect!! For those of you who don't know, I'm slightly (and really it's only slightly) obsessed with Joey Votto. Anyway, I'll talk to you all later!

ohh heyy, so you all probably know that i was in Tennessee this weekend visiting knox!!! It was a really fun time :) Laying around by the pool & playing games was not a bad way to spend the weekend. I basically dominated in jackpot...knox didn't stand a chance!! However, i'm not the best at Marco polo! lol Did anyone watch the usa game I couldn't believe they lost!! Hope everyone has a great week!!

well i had a great weekend!!!. brooke paige and kirsti came down to visit me and it was great to see them! i played this weekend and pitched great. i didnt get to hit but oh well. win some loose some. internship is still going great as well. ive met alot of crazy characters but they are so funny. i cant wait to actually start my real job. workouts are moving along. ive finally got used to the soreness. well hope everyone has a great week!

well i think its probably time that i get back on here and blog again. life for this girl has been a bit crazy lately!! for anyone that didn't know paige, kirsti and i went to tennessee this weekend to surprise knox for her birthday. i can't believe no one slipped but we all kept it in and she was so surprised, it was awesome! had a good time spending some time with her and her family this weekend. got one more week of work and workouts ahead of me before the most needed vacation of my life!!! i leave on friday morning for indian river, michigan...which for any of u that don't know, this is my favorite place in the world!! its basically an escape from the world and i love it! it is much needed right now and im super excited :) just gotta get through workouts and work the next couple days and im good to go...hope everyone has a great week :) miss you all!!

well this past week has been full of craziness. i had orientation on thursday and had a ton of fun, and then came home and had a 3 day tournament. the heat was nuts! i think i chugged like 3 bottles of water on average per game. as for workouts, today i finally get to get back into routine. i never thought i would see the day that the school would close the track though, apparently its too hot and they dont want anyone getting hurt. soooo that just means going to the Y now. hope everyone has a good week =)

hey guys! i just got back from florida last night well technically this morning because our plane was delayed for two hours! the trip was so fun we went parasailing and snorkeling and we got to see dolphins! now im back too the real world though and i have to head offto work after like 4 hours of sleep but oh well! hope everyone had a good weekend!

Heyy guys ! So i got back from florida, and went straight to games yesterday, it was really exhausting. But florida was awesomee and we won both games yesterday ! Today we lost our second game today tho :/ Next weeks our last tournament which is kinda depressing, but i can focus on work and workouts more ! Have a good week everyone !!

hey everyone. so i'm sitting in my hotel room up near cleveland getting ready to go to bed. my summer team played 4 games today....but the 4th didn't count however we were the only ones that had to play 4, go figure. we think it's because last year we got 2nd place so they are trying to make us lose. but really, they don't have to try too hard with the way my team is fielding haha. we had 2 wins and then lost 2 but it's better than our other tournaments. in one inning we had 6 outs...and the umpires are awful! one of our pitchers was arguing with them (which was basically her screaming) and all i could think of is what would coach say? lol. i pitched pretty good and my fielding was awesome. i've also picked up a lot of speed with my pitching so thats good. ok well i'm going to pass out now! byye!

Today has been a lazy day after last night. um best night of my life. If anyone has ever been to a midnight premiere of harry potter obviously you have seen how crazy people dress up but omg last night was just amazing! There were people dressed in the most aweome costumes. I saw a woman who had the actual deathly hallows tattooted to her arm..like a real tattoo. Someone was dressed as a house elf and some was dress as Luna and they looked so perfect! omg I cannot stop talking about it was so awesome. I know I am obsessed... anyways I am coaching my 10U team all weekend in the new albany tournament, hopefully we do well! good luck to everyone in gapps this weekend!

Okay, being sick sucks but being ill in the summer is so much worse.  I haven't worked out much this week because of it, trying to get some strength built up for my tournament this weekend.  Three games today and I barley feel like I can get out of bed. Oh my complaining is through. Good Luck to all those playing this weekend. 

hii! so i leave for hilton head tomorrow at 8am and i haven't even begun packing yet. i'm planning on staying up as late as i can though so i can sleep all day in the car. i'm going with my aunts and uncles and all of my cousins. we rent a house on the beach and all stay in it so it gets crazy with all of the younger kids running around but it's a lot of fun! my brother was home this week so it has been nice getting to spend time with him. we have played tennis almost every night this week then i make him do the workouts with me after. well i think i'm going to go start packing!

So, I am absolutely stoked about seeing the Harry Potter movie!  My group has to go super early though because we have a big group and the Rave here has 'banned' saving seats at midnight premieres...oh well...I am sure my friends and I will come up with plenty to do in the meantime }:)!!  Everything has been going awesome here but the thunderstorms are really beginning to annoy me...and yes Brooke...even though you love storms, I think some of these would set you on edge! haha  Hope all is going well with everyone and that you all had a great time at open fields and orientation for the freshman who went!

I'm sooo pumped to go see HARRY POTTER!!!!!!! I've been looking forward to it all day, and my boss even told me to come in late tomorrow since it's going to be a long night lol. I went to old navy and bought shorts and a tank top! $33 down the drain, oh well i'm gonna just tell myself i really needed them so i can justify it when my mom asks! lol WHO ELSE IS EXCITED ABOUT HARRY POTTER??? I wish i could go see the movie tonight at midnight but between all my friends works schedules we thought it would be better to see it tomorrow night!! i'm just happy that i'm going to see it! so today has been super crazy for me and needless to say i can't wait to go home. i am currently still at work and will be until we close at 10 and have been here since about 8:10 this morning. I worked 12 hours today and lifted in between my shifts. the first part was soccer sports camp and i got put with 40 1st and 2nd graders...basically they were a handful and being outside and on ur feet all day stinks...now i am at the front desk which isn't as bad but im exhausted. that makes for 2 days in a row because yesterday after my 8 hours of working both jobs i did the track workout and that kicked my booty too. i only made one of the half miles in 3:15 but i did better than last week because i got the 2nd one in like 3:20 the 3rd one in 3:24 and the last one in 3:30. so still improvement and i was extremely happy with that. well hopefully my 9 hour shift tomorrow won't kill me too haha. have a lovely day and im sorry for not being able to be at the scrimmage tonight. miss you all!!

Hello everyone. Vacation was wonderful and the weather was fantastic. But work has been very busy and didn't act like I ever left. But just so all of you know I get to go to JAMBOREE IN THE HILLS tomorrow. I will make sure to enjoy it for everyone :) Workouts have well.. not really been nice to me haha Slightly sore since I took a week off for vacation. Hopefully I will get a chance to make it down to an open field if work doesn't keep owning me. Miss all of you classy ladies :)

hey guys! so workouts have been going good...although i'm a little sore today. But all of my soreness from over the weekend from pitching went away so that's good. This weekend we have a tournament up in cortland and only 5 teams are there...and i'm hoping it's not like last years where they made us play 7 innings each game. 7 innings for 4 games in one day is a bit much. but this year we have more pitchers should it should be a little better then last year. I'm planning on going to the open field today and i can't wait to see everyone :)

sooo i got off work early today and now i can make it to the open hitting!! yaaaaaay! im super excited to see everyone agian! aaahhh! okay just thought id let everyone...but did my workout today and it went well. so yeah alright see ya all tonight!

Well workouts have been going good! I did mine this morning before work which isn't good when I work a double but I got off early so it wasn't too bad! But I am going to cedar point tomorrow which I am so excited about! I've only been there once and that was about 6 years ago. I also got my first letter back today from my ROX girl. It took her awhile but I was excited to hear from her! Well I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!!

So funny story to tell all of you, this past weekend my travel team played at Stingrays, as many people did. The parking is fairly far away and so they have golf carts that you can ride up to the fields, which there happen to be one there when I got out of my car, so of course I decided that I would just take it. As I am enjoying my ride up to the fields guess who I see?? O yes both of our coaches, I waved at them but then Coach told me to get off of the golf cart and walk up to the fields, I didn't know what to do I was simply caught in action.

Weird, yet awesome! =)

So today took some WEIRD turns!  After moaning to myself about having to wake up at 4 almost every morning of the week, my general manager presented me with my 1 year pin for having worked at Panera for a year and told me he thought I was one of the best openers he ever had...MAN does time fly by and MAN was I glad to hear what he had to say!!  Then, I found out one of the radio stations was coming to Panera, while I was working, to host a raffle for the Rihanna concert tonight in Birmingham.  2 people would win 2 tickets each.  Well...I am not a huge fan of her...but I decided to enter anyways just for the heck of it...wouldn't it be...I WON THE TICKETS!! haha  I felt really bad for a lot of the people though, because a lot of them had come from all over Alabama to win those tickets or buy them and it was me and another girl who worked in the shopping area who won them...oops!! But I still wasn't interested in going, so I sold them to two coworkers for $20 each =)  YAY!  I can save the money for when I visit my best friend up in Nashville later in the month.  Other than that, workouts have been going really well.  There are tough spots where it is hard to bring myself to give it all I have, but then I think about how we are gonna dominate next season and that helps me to push myself even harder over those bumps.  Well, I gotta get back to reading the Canterbury Tales for my online class.  Have an awesome week everyone and stay safe from those storms!!

Hey ladies, like the header says, there's not going to be any open fields tonight due to the weather. We didn't want anyone to have to drive all the way here, and then get rained out. However, we are moving the open field to THIS WEDNESDAY JULY 13 from 6-8pm. Hopefully the weather cooperates a bit more than it did today. IF you could let me know if you'll be there or not that would be great! Either post on here, text me, or write it in the fb message. so workouts are still kicking my booty as usual. I start my internship today which I'm super excited about. This might be the job for me. I was suppose to have a lesson this morning but the mom overslept so it got cancelled. The student has never pitched before so I was ready to show her what its about. Coach might be recruiting her some day haha. My birthday is tomorrow. Yipee!! I just learned that I'm playing atleast 7 games this weekend, possibly 10 if we win it all. Hi guys! I'm pretty excited about going to open field tonight! My life is pretty boring right now so I don't really have much to say. I'm kinda jealous of everyone who is playing in tourneys right now though haha. Anywho one small blip of excitement coming up is the Harry Potter movie! One of my friends from home is driving over to Columbus to come watch it on a big screen haha, we have movie theatres they are just not quite as expansive as the ones here in Columbus. Then we are going to visit another friend this weekend in Akron so hopefully that's fun ha. Ok well hope to see most of you tonight!

ohh heyy so nothing in my life has really changed! the most exciting thing that has happened to me the past couple days is I went to a yard sale and bought 6 highlighter sharpies for 50 cents...talk about a steal & a lame life! hahaha But I don't have to work tomorrow so i'll be at the scrimmage see who ever is coming there!!! have a great week everyone!

I leave for Hilton Head on friday so i'm pretty pumped for thatt! we go with all of my cousins and aunts and uncles and all stay in a house together on the beach so it gets really crazy but it's a lot of fun too. Tomorrow I have to babysit all day but then hopefully i'm going to come to the open field thing but i have to babysit til 4 and it's 2 hours away so it's going to be pushing it. Well maybe i'll see you all tomorrow!

So games went ok this weekend. It was kind of nice just playing for fun, since the tournament got messed up because of the rain ! I leave for florida in less than 24 hours , so pumped ! Have a good week every one !

Well i feel like its been awhile since i have posted on here...this is a post for last week cuz i have been too busy to post anything the past couple days. But i played in my last tournament of the summer yesterday and today. things went pretty well, went 2-2 on sat, needless to say i was tired after all 4 games even though i didn't play in all of them. Then today we played 2 games and won the tourney which was nice. i had a pretty decent weekend when i was in so i can't be too upset bout that. all i do have to say about this weekend is that my coach really pisses me off because he is like in love with any D1 player that we have and they always get to play over other ppl whether they are better or not. can i just say, that just cuz i didn't go D1 doesn't mean i can't play at their level. sorry i am going on a rant here but it really makes me angry. some girls who have enough talent to play at bigger schools don't for other reasons, but don't be dissing on my D3 school cuz we get D1 experiences at the D3 level, we just play cuz we love it, not for money. Ok my rant is over now, he just really makes me angry sometimes. anyway hope everyone had a good weekend and hope to see as many of u as possible tomorrow :)

hey guys! so this weekend i had a tournament at pickerington north. my team didn't do to good on saturday. we lost 2 games and then tied another :( but i only pitched an inning that day and i did really good. i had two strike outs and a ground out. then sunday we played a lot better however we still lost, but we actually scored! and we prob lost to the tournament winners. but one of our pitchers started the first inning and they scored 6 runs off her then i went in in the 2nd inning. again i pitched really good and by the 5th inning my arm my def feeling it since i haven't pitched that much in a while. but anyways basically none of my pitches were working this weekend and all i had was my fastball although today i had a little more movement pitches. but i was really surprised by how effective my fastball is.

anyways, i will be at our practice tomorrow and i hope to see everyone there :)

Hi everyone =)  So this week has been super hectic with work, workouts, and and my online class...so needless to say, I am writing this while lounging in my bed, glad to be relaxing for once! haha  This week is going to be crazy too but I am so looking forward to Thursday night with the midnight premiere of Harry Potter!!  I am so jealous of ya'll though because Alabama is on central time which means you will start the movie a whole hour earlier than me! haha  Can't wait!!!

hey everybody!!! so got my workout in this week after getting 3 shots in my arms that killed (and left some major bruises) let's just say that the last thing you want ur coach to do after u get to third is to say good job by smacking u right in the shoulder. anyway we played in troy today and did pretty well. fingers crossed we play well enough to place

crazyy week

hey yall, i hope all is well. I got a line drive hit back at me last weekend and it hit my wrist on my pitching hand so I was freakin out that it was broken. Thank goodness nothing is wrong just a severe deep tissue bruise. Ive had pitching lessons to give all week. Some of these girls drive me insane but most of them are hard workers and are eager to learn which I'm happy to help. My birthday is next tuesday. So happy to be turning 19 finally! I start my cardiac rehablitation internship next week which I'm super excited for. I'm off this weekend because of my wrist so I don't injury it anymore than it is. I miss everyone and i can't wait to make that 6 hour drive back up to good ol' ohio ;)

Hey guys ! hope everyones summer is going well .. ive been so busy lately ! two days ago i went to the Katy Perry concert, it was awesomee ! workouts are greatt , and work still sucks but i gotta get money hah . I have a tournament in Columbus at ohio sate this weekend, im really excited, even tho its gonna be like 95 degrees :/ .
